The other class I’m taking this term is a continuation of the last term. It’s an advanced fiction workshop. We’re supposed to continue working on what we worked on in the last term.
Just one problem with this. What I worked on last term is going to be released into the world in three days. There is no more editing.
So I email the professor. “Professor, can I start with something new? What I used last term is already on pre-order and will be released in about a week.”
“Oh sure, new work is always welcome!”
Yes! More eyes on my work and by now everyone should know how to give feedback. If they don’t, there’s an instructor right there to step in.
Maybe it’s time to actually write more than two chapters of book two?
Just maybe?
