Hiring someone to help you publish or doing it yourself — more decisions.

After talking to my personal assistant, I realized there was more to this self-publishing thing than I originally thought. I seriously thought I’d just format my book in Vellum, slap it up on Amazon, and call it a day.
Yeah, that’s not how it works. Not if you want to be successful, anyway.
So, it all comes down to “What are your goals? What do you want to get out of publishing a book? Where do you see yourself going?”
My biggest goal is to be right up there with Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts, Stephen King, and all the greats. I want to be on the NYT bestsellers list. Or USA Today, Consistently —
I’m not picky.
