I asked my editor if having book one released by my birthday was doable.

She’s all, “Sure, I plan on having the book to you by end of next week.” This was on the fourth. The end of that next week was the fourteenth. It’s the twenty-seventh, and I still don’t have it back from her.

The editor hasn’t gotten the book back to me!

I’m sure I'll still need to make edits and get it to and from beta readers, do the book cover, front and back matter, and then get my personal assistant a copy so she can send out ARC’s and reader magnets.

All in five weeks.
