This morning I met with my editor and the person I hired to show me how to get the book up for publication. They convinced me that I’m not ready for the book to be published.
The points they brought up made perfect sense. This is my first book. I want to make it as good as I can. We all know first impressions are everything. While the reading community can be forgiving, I don’t want a bad book hanging over my head.
So, instead of releasing my book for my son’s birthday, I’ll go to the park and release balloons and have ice cream with my friends in memory of my son like we’ve done for the last three years.
