The last term ended.

I’ve gotten my final grades. I didn’t pass my Shakespeare class. I needed a lot higher score on my final project.
I’m torn between “I’m a horrible writer and I was stupid to think I could ever be a successful one,” and “Shakespeare is hard to understand. My professor just didn’t like what I wrote.”
I know I’m not taking this class again. So I’m doing a Petition to Amend and see if I can swap out Shakespeare for a different Literature class.
My advisor says he’s never seen one be approved for a Shakespeare class as it’s an important part of the degree program, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
I’m over here thinking, “Why is it so important? We don’t write, talk, act, anything like that anymore.”
