...and I found what my book used to be when I first starting writing it two years ago. I went through it briefly and I liked it so much better than what the story currently is.
So I take it on my Tuesday night writing feedback calls. Every single person said, “I like this version so much better, why’d you change it?” My only response: “I was told it wasn’t believable, and I didn’t have the confidence in my writing to say ‘I’ve got this.’”
I really thought people who’ve been published would know better than me.
Now I do have the confidence in my writing, so here I am working on making this book the best it can be with my original idea.
I really feel bad for my editor.
